A membership platform for early childhood educators — warm illustrated branding, a real payment flow, and a resource library built to grow.

The Challenge
A digital resource library for early childhood educators, sold as a membership — needing real payment functionality, not just a brochure site.
Tiny Trails needed to become a "go-to global hub for engaging, teacher-created early years resources" — a place where early childhood educators could find curriculum units, flashcards, printables, and activity guides, and subscribe for unlimited access. Presenting information wasn't enough: the site had to work as a real business, with a payment and membership flow behind it from day one.
The brand also needed to earn trust fast with a skeptical, discerning audience — early childhood educators who see dozens of generic resource sites and stock-photo templates every week. A weak first impression would mean losing them before they ever saw what was inside.
The Strategy
Rather than a template storefront, we designed the platform around the educator's customer journey — browse a category, preview a resource, and subscribe without friction. A WordPress + Next.js hybrid gave the content side easy management while keeping the front end fast and custom-built.
For the brand itself, we chose custom illustrated artwork over stock photography — a stronger first impression that carries the "Tiny Steps, Big Learning" concept from the logo through every resource category, built around the business goal of standing out in a crowded niche.
