Galaxy
Plumbing
Redesign
Case Study
Taking an existing live plumbing site and rebuilding it as a modern, conversion-focused Next.js website — faster, cleaner, and built to rank.

The Goal
Galaxy Plumbing Inc. has a real, live website — but it has serious usability and SEO problems that are costing them leads every day. This concept redesign shows what a modern rebuild would look like: structured content, fast load times, and a layout designed around how plumbing customers actually make decisions.
The redesign was built entirely in Next.js with Tailwind CSS, deployed on Vercel, and focuses on conversion — getting a visitor to call or book as quickly as possible.

- galaxy-plumbing.vercel.app
The Problem
- 01Cluttered layout, no visual hierarchy
- 02Services listed as names only — no descriptions
- 03Trust signals buried below the fold
- 04Financing hidden as a plain nav link
- 05Mobile showing video game cover art as service thumbnails
- 06Too many animations — marquees, competing hover states, and video sequences firing all at once with no order or purpose
- 07JS-rendered DOM, poor SEO crawlability
The Solution
- 01Strong hero headline with CTAs and trust badges above the fold
- 02All 17 services with one-line descriptors and Learn More links
- 03Financing given a full dedicated section with clear CTA
- 04Stats block — 20+ yrs, 5,000+ jobs, 24/7, 5.0★ — for instant credibility
- 05Clean, scannable review cards
- 06Animations used with restraint — ticker, scroll reveals, subtle card hovers. Everything has a purpose
- 07SSR via Next.js — fast load, fully crawlable for SEO
